Mental Fitness Training
In Partnership with Positive Intelligence, Inc.
As a coach trained by Shirzad Chamine and his team, I am excited to offer a Mental Fitness Program that I myself went through and continue to grow with.
This program is based on the latest research in neuroscience, cognitive and positive psychology, and performance science.
You can learn more about the specific research and Positive Intelligence in Shirzad Chamine’s New York Times bestselling book Positive Intelligence.
What is Mental Fitness?
In physical fitness, the stronger and flexible your muscles, the easier it is for you to move.
In mental fitness, the “muscles” are our brain’s ability to deal with the mental and emotional “weights” – stress, anxiety, frustration, unexpected changes, unhappiness, work and relationship challenges.
The more flexible and stronger is our “mental muscle”, the faster we can adjust to the new changes, the easier it is for us to see new opportunities and solutions and we are able to create and nurture deeper and more harmonious connections with those around us.
What I personally love about the program is that it is verified by scientific research (yes, it does make your brain work better – based on MRI imagining – even within 6-8 weeks of our training you can see the shifts already) and no belief is necessary. Besides belief in yourself, your ability to stick with it and your commitment to improving your wellbeing and results in a way that can be life-changing for some. As once you see and understand how things work in your brain and how it impacts your performance, you will be able to navigate and shift to a more productive state of your mind – for years and years to come.
Just like yoga – Mental Fitness training is a practice. The more you do it, the more flexible and balanced you become, and can deal with challenges with more ease. Plus once you learn the techniques in our program, you will be able to do them by yourself – anywhere, anytime.
With improved mental fitness, your performance improves. Think when athletes are “in the zone”. Imagine you being at your best during the very important meeting or sales call.
With stronger mental fitness muscles, you can experience more peace, happiness, reduced stress levels, and feeling balanced and resilient even during challenging times.
Imagine handling tricky conversations with your boss, client, kids, significant other and anyone else in a way that can deepen trust and harmony between you. What would the world look like if all of us were able to do that?
” The Positive Intelligence (PQ) model is a brilliant breakthrough as it defines, measures, and improves your awareness of your own performance and happiness. It also helps solve the mystery of why so many smart people still fail to be successful.”
Jim Lanzone, Chief Digitaal Officer, CBS
How It Works
Designed as a mental fitness bootcamp, the Mental Fitness training gives you the structure, training practice guidance, and additional insights into how to strengthen your mental fitness.
Once you sign up for the program, you will gain access to the PQ app and there you find not only weekly video training sessions but also daily guided practice that will be personalized to the aspects of the mental training that are the most relevant to you.
For those who like to track things and see daily progress, yes this app thought of you too! You can see how the exercises increase your Positive Intelligence Quotient – the strength of your mental muscles, day by day.
You can join a learning pod with family members, friends or coworkers, or go through the program solo. Either way, you will have access to a global online community where Shirzad himself is still active. You can go there to ask questions, ask for support or just connect and share with others who started the program at the same time as you.
